George Luton Voice Lessons, Private (60 Minutes)VO60
George Luton is a composer and music director from the Greater Boston area, where he works with regional theatre companies, such as Stage 284, Boston Children’s Theatre, and In Vivo Productions, to develop scores and launch productions of original plays and musicals. He has been teaching voice and piano to students of all ages and abilities for over a decade through both his independent studio and Island Theatre Workshop’s ACT MV education program. Luton obtained a B.A. cum laude in Music and Drama with a focus in composition from Vassar College, where he was employed by the school’s theatre department as a music specialist. Since graduating, he has been substitute teaching and monitoring music classes for the Greenwich Public Schools while also accompanying and vocal directing new musical projects for Prospect Theater Company and The Tank in New York City.
