Sharon Levin holds a Master of Music degree in Flute Performance from Manhattan School of Music. She was also awarded a “Certificate de Musique de Chambre” (Chamber Music Certificate) from The Eclole Normale de Musique in Paris, France. Ms. Levin was the principal flutist with the New Jersey Pops Symphony Orchestra for 14 years, has been a soloist and chamber musician in the USA, Europe, Central and South America. She is an active performer and instructor in Fairfield County. She was the flute choir director for the Stamford Young Artists Philharmonic Program (2006-2010), she taught Music History at Norwalk Community College (2008-2010). She is also on the faculty at the Connecticut School of Music in Westport and Greenwich and teaches privately at her home studio. Her students have participated and continue to participate among the following area programs: Norwalk Youth Symphony, Stamford Young Artists Philharmonic, Greater Bridgeport Youth Orchestra, Western Middle School and High School Regionals Program and the High School All State Program.
