Description
A dance class for students with at least 4 or more years of ballet experience where dancers will be prepared for the requirements of advanced ballet. As an intermediate level in the matriculated ballet program at the academy, students who would like to advance their technique and further their love and appreciation of ballet continue to develop strength, coordination, flexibility and musicality as they advance in their training. Instructors are professionals in the field and emphasize both the joy of dance and discipline in a nurturing and positive environment.
Dancers in the Intermediate level will have the opportunity to participate in the annual production of The Nutcracker during the Fall Semester and will perform in the End-of-Year Performance, which concludes the Spring Semester.
These students are also encouraged to take Intermediate or Advanced Pointe (director evaluation required) as well as advancing into DAC Dance Academy’s Apprentice Program if they are not already involved in this pre-professional track.
