Manga and Anime have made a significant impact on Western culture, exploring universal themes of drama, comedy, action, and romance. From iconic series like My Neighbor Totoro to modern trends, these mediums offer a vast array of unique styles and characters.

In this class, we will explore the techniques, history, and evolving trends of Manga and Anime. Students will learn the fundamentals of drawing in the manga and anime style, including expressive faces, hairstyles, poses, clothing, and character design. They'll become familiar with popular, age-appropriate characters while developing their own creations. Perfect for beginners and experienced young artists alike, this class encourages creativity, builds drawing skills, and inspires a love of visual storytelling.
